Architectural-scale lighting informed by Anatolian craft traditions. Each piece is made-to-order — conceived as a design argument, executed as sculpture.

Every light is made for your space.
Custom scale, material, and finish.
Homeware and objects for the rituals of daily life — tableware, vessels, and decor bearing the same sculptural sensibility as the lighting work.
"My work exists between ornament and structure — between Istanbul and New York — between sculpture and ceremony."
FEYZ Studio is a multidisciplinary design practice founded by Turkish architect and designer Feyza Kemahlioglu. The work explores how ornament, craft, and cultural memory can function architecturally — through light.
Training in architecture at Carnegie Mellon and Columbia GSAPP gave Feyza a structural vocabulary. A deep-rooted connection to Anatolian craft traditions — glass-blowing, meerschaum carving, ornamental metalwork — gave her a material language. The work lives in the tension between those two worlds.
"In Western modernism, ornament was stripped away. In many Eastern and Middle Eastern traditions, ornament carries identity, status, ritual, protection, ceremony. I live between those two philosophies. That tension is my engine."

Every lighting and furniture piece is made-to-order. We work with architects, interior designers, collectors, and private clients — from first conversation to final installation.
