FEYZ is a New York and Istanbul based multi-disciplinary design studio established in 2015 by architect Feyza Köksal. With the founder’s architecture and urban design background, the studio’s work varies in scale from one of a kind furniture and lighting pieces to interiors, architecture and urban design.

Our projects happen in various scales and mediums, and our passions lie in understanding the clients needs and creating innovative and sustainable solutions that will enhance the users quality of life. Our work is driven by an inherent passion and curiosity into different cities and cultures, natural materials, traditional and contemporary construction methods, and detail oriented fabrication.  We work in collaboration with expert craftsman to create high-quality, timeless products and spaces. We really believe that design can change the world. We want our work to become the positive catalyst, and the beginning of something exciting. Therefore, we put utmost care into thinking about the smallest detail to the bigger picture. Founder, Architect


     Feyza Koksal was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She completed her Bachelor’s of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University, and her Master’s in Architecture and Urban Design at Columbia University GSAPP in New York. 

     After graduation she worked at Studio Dror in New York on a architectural and urban development project located in Istanbul, Turkey. Her past work experiences specialized in residential projects in New York. Her training in architecture, art, glassblowing and woodworking pushed her to launch her own architecture and design studio where the focus is to create high quality sculptural pieces through research into unique methods of making. 

     Currently based in New York, Feyza also works on projects in Istanbul. Her deep rooted connection to Turkey and its culture has enabled her to explore traditional materials and fabrication techniques and combine it with contemporary techniques through her education and experience.
