In May 2017, Feyza won the "Emerging Product Designer" Award at the NYCxDesign Awards hosted by ICFF and Interior Design Magazine held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

FEYZ is a New York and Istanbul-based, multi-disciplinary design studio established in 2015 by Feyza Köksal. Specializing in interiors, furniture, and lighting design, the Studio is driven by an inherent curiosity about different cities and cultures. This curiosity translates into intricate, sculptural designs.

The company’s signature design, the first edition Lean light, was introduced in 2016 at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City.

It recently made its TV debut on the hit Showtime series, “Billions.”

Based on the notion that design can change the world, the Studio carefully considers each detail to create thoughtful, beautiful, and functional designs.

Feyza Koksal was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She completed her Bachelor’s of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University, and her Master’s in Architecture and Urban Design at Columbia University GSAPP in New York City.

Her training in architecture, art, glassblowing and woodworking pushed her to launch her own architecture and design studio where the focus is to create high quality, sculptural pieces through research into unique methods of making.

Her deep rooted connection to Turkey and its culture has enabled her to explore traditional materials and fabrication techniques and combine it with contemporary techniques through her education and experience. She is currently based in New York City.
